Voted Best Wedding Photographs 2010!

I am excited to say that one of my wedding photographs has been selected as one of the 36 Best in Canada for 2010 by the Bridal Network
(bride.ca). There was a HUGE field of entries – hundreds in fact, from the best wedding photographers throughout the country and the imagery submitted was truely awesome! The impressive panel of judges were from Real Weddings, Calgary Bride, The Wedding Fair, Mariage Chic and Elegant Wedding.

“Let’s do it!” was their response to my idea for Andi and Andy’s “day-after” photo shoot.

The three of us set off early by canoe across Osoyoos Lake to a secret beach location for a perfect September morning of sand-duning in the Okanagan. They jumped high and I took a lower vantage point to make the shot extra exciting. I like sessions to have an element of adventure and surprise – loaded with energy and life.  In this case, I think we really captured a moment that will happen only once in a lifetime.
