Some of the area’s biggest Ponderosa trees sway carefree above the A frame log cabins which you and your wedding party can rent for the weekend for a truly relaxing wedding experience.

Ponderosa Point Resort sits in a time and space that seems simpler, more easy going, and inspiring in a relaxing kind of way. It is situated on the western shoreline of Skaha Lake in Kaleden, just 15 minutes South of Penticton. It has its own private beach a few steps away from the Kettle Valley Railway Trail. Once you are at Ponderosa Point, you cannot help but feel like you are in a far away place!

As a photographer, I really enjoy the long dock at the resort. It gives wedding couples the feeling of walking out into a positive future and lends itself to truly fantastic photography that you’ll want to display as art!

I can continue your photography session on site at Ponderosa Point or we can venture to some of my secret spots nearby – desert grasslands, orchards, historical landmarks or quaint local beaches.

You can have an outdoor reception on site or travel up the hill to Linden Gardens, also in Kaleden, for an indoor reception and wedding photography amidst a rainbow of flowers!
