Gellatly Heritage Park & Nut Farm

When you walk under a canopy of heritage trees at Gellatly Heritage Park & Nut Farm in West Kelowna, it sets the mind at ease – all the craziness of the outside world disappears. “Green space” like this doesn’t exist anywhere else in the Okanagan so I welcome the chance to be the photographer at weddings here whenever possible.

Gellatly Nut Farm’s proximity to The Cove Lakeside Resort in West Kelowna makes it a fantastic venue for the whole day. Your wedding ceremony can take place in numerous locations on the grounds – near the beach, near the old homestead or in a secret grove of heritage filbert trees. From there, creative photography has no limits! (except for the mind of the photographer).

After a fun photography session, you and your guests can convene 10 minutes up Boucherie Road at Quail’s Gate Estate Winery for a vineyard wedding reception with sweeping views of Okanagan Lake. In the evening, the twinkling lights of Kelowna in the distance remind you of where you are – in an oasis in the middle of an Okanagan paradise.
