Apple D’or Guesthouse hides its treasures well from Naramata Road and reveals its custom-made qualities as soon as you step inside. As you round the corner, you soon realize that this is a BIG place with three private suites on the lower level, all of which open up into an emerald garden with impeccable rock work, waterfalls and flowers everywhere. Wedding couples and photographers revel in this manicured hand crafted oasis.

The private self-contained suites open up onto the south-west facing lawn and gardens where you can walk out to a quaint wedding ceremony site. Custom made for the private wedding or small group, Apple d’Or is a unique option in the heart of Okanagan Wine Country, right on the Naramata Bench, just 15 minutes North of Penticton.

Apple d’Or offers great options for photography of all types – architectural details, gorgeous lake views and garden setting. As your photographer at Apple d’Or, I can do the entire portrait session in the gardens, or I can also act as your tour guide and take you to some of my favourite spots along the shoreline near the quaint village of Naramata.

I have always been a bit of an explorer and I have been living in the Okanagan since the early 90’s and Penticton for nearly 10 years. With my great knowledge of the hidden charms of the area, I can mix your photography session with a walk through an old apple orchard, a clay hillside full of blue-green sagebrush or we can step out onto a beach of smooth stones and basically have Okanagan Lake to ourselves. And lets not forget the lush vineyards, wineries and heritage sites!

After a relaxed wedding photography session, I can direct you to some of the best wineries on the Naramata Bench where you can sip wine until the sun goes down.
